"Research indicates our core beliefs originate in childhood. It stands to reason that if a person's life is not working it is the result of outdated core beliefs and that Inner child work is the most obvious place to begin the repair."

Hello Cathryn

I was drawn to listen to your interview because of both the subject and the date -- My mom recently went to be with the Lord, and we celebrated her homecoming on Sept 6th. And as I listened, I heard and felt many of the same thoughts and feelings you shared. Thanks for that.

Best

Cathryn something about what you are writing about your mother called out to me..

My dad is 97 and is still going strong. Other than his diabetes and being hard of hearing, he has a hearing aide, he is in good shape. He is in a nursing home in Brooklyn, NY and I live 2 hours away in New Castle, Delaware.

His roomate just died, he was 96. My dad cared for him. He would help him dress if the nurse was late to come to him, he gave him money on his birthday. My dad cared for this man. When my dad told me his room mate died. He was not sad. He simply said he is out of pain so that is the best thing. I kept waiting for him to start crying. But all he kept saying was his roomate is out of pain and not suffering anymore. He has dementia also. He asked me how old he was the last time I saw him.

Thank you for sharing about your mother. I think you are going to help release me to think about my dad and write about him...to release my thoughts about him...some good and some bad...

Hi Cathryn,

I love what you have written here. I love your style and way you painted such beautiful images in what you are going through. Having gone through something similar recently with my Dad - I can identify with your feelings. Your Mom is so special. From the moment I met her I felt connected to her as if I had known her all of my life - I love her spirit. Please know that my thoughts are with you, Aunt Gladys and the rest of the family right now and enjoy this time with her! Love, Claire

Cathy, I also cried, our mothers started kindergarten together and are still friends at 93.....you Taylor kids and us Rasmussen kids grew up together. I call your mom Aunt Gladys, which of course she is not, but my lifelong friends, Pat, Rose Ann, Mike, Mo, and Teri always called her that so why shouldn't I? I miss Pat and Mo, just knowing they were there. My reflections of life in the middle of Nebraska are amazing and can't be duplicated. Give my Aunt Gladys a huge hug and kiss and tell her that I love her (but she knows that).

Cathryn - I really loved today's show between you and Echo. I am one of Echo's students. It was a terrific set of topics today, and I thoroughly enjoyed hearing both of your views. You interviewed her so effortlessly, and I enjoyed every single minute. I have provided a link of this broadcast on Echo's Center of Spirituality Group on Facebook, and also on her Living By Your Intuition Gmail Group.
